Sun-lit Lounge

On the ground floor, there is a spacious sun-lit lounge available for use by guests, with bay windows overlooking Peel Bay and Castle, furnished with an antique grandfather clock and a solid fuel/wood-burning stove. It is the perfect place to view Peel's famous sunsets. This room also has Freeview TV/DVD player for use by guests.

The Breakfast Room is also located on the ground floor – we have designed a breakfast menu that caters to a wide range of tastes and dietary needs, from a full Manx breakfast that features the finest in Manx produce, to lighter breakfast bites such as cereal, yogurts and a range of fruits.

Unrivalled Views

By the bay windows, there is a comfy armchair and a pair of binoculars to view the coast in finer detail. Lucky and eagle-eyed nature lovers may well spy the fin of an elusive basking shark or the bobbing head of a friendly seal, without having to leave the comfort of your chair! On the long Summer evenings our residents are welcome to retire on the front lawn where the sunset can be enjoyed in its full radiant glory. Even on rough, stormy days, the sight of waves crashing against the promenade walls, enhanced by the dramatic backdrop of the Castle, makes for electrifying viewing that will make you more than glad of your snug surroundings and the ever-lit wood burner!

Aalin View's peaceful and convenient location is just a five minute walk down the nearby main road from the town centre. Alternatively, you can head into town via the more picturesque route of the Headlands by taking one of the paths that lies at either end of the terraced lawn winding its way down onto the Promenade.

From there, you can head straight to the beach or follow the prom all the way down across to St Patrick's Isle and the Castle grounds. For the more adventurous rambler, bearing right along the headland paths from the terrace lawn will take you to the headlands proper. From there you can enjoy a full view of Peel town, the Castle and the Irish Mountains of Mourne and beyond.
